How to set up instant messaging on the Nokia E72

Setting up instant messaging on the Nokia E72 using Nokia's Chat application

With its Qwerty keyboard, comprehensive messaging caabilities and high-speed data connectivity via Wi-Fi or HSDPA on mobile networks, the Nokia E72 is geared up to be a very effective communications tool.

Alongside email and text messaging, Nokia has enabled the E72 with instant messaging support, using Nokia's Chat application.

The Chat application on the Nokia E72 enables you to hold instant messaging sessions with multiple friends or colleagues using one or more instant messaging services at the same time.

You can add, remove or block contacts and customise your status, add images to your profile, and follow conversation threads, all in a similar way to using IM on a desktop PC.
