How to set screen security on the Motorola Milestone

Setting up screen security on the Motorola Milestone by creating a personal screen unlock pattern

The Motorola Milestone offers plenty of high-end smartphone functionality, with great connectivity, a healthy set of applications onboard and loads of touchscreen activated features.

The Motorola Milestone also has several screen lock and security functions to protect the touchscreen from accidental pressing and to prevent unauthorised use of the phone.

These include a simple sleep option that switches the screen off or on with a short press of the power button, and a finger swiping screen unlock mechanism to activate the display from sleep.

It also has a screen unlock pattern option. The screen unlock pattern option enables you to draw a pattern across the display that any user must tap in to be able to use the device.
